This has been Area Science Park’s purpose for 40 years, creating a “link between research and business” to make companies competitive and foster socio-economic development locally.

To achieve these goals, Area Science Park also coordinates national and international projects, promoting innovation and high-tech research, through technological transfer and enhancement of scientific research findings.

Know-how development
all of this coupled with advanced education courses, providing 4,500 hours of in-class training in 2017, some of which are especially dedicated to bio-medical training courses. In fact, in 2014 the “Alessandro Volta” Technical High School and Foundation of New Technologies for Life has been established at the campus in Basovizza, offering two-year specialization courses in strict collaboration with the world of business.
