We promote the innovation of the procedures and planning methodologies of the Public Administration.

AREA Science Park provides expertise and services in support of:

• the innovation of strategic planning processes for climate-change mitigation and adaptation, with a special focus on the transition towards renewable energy sources (e.g. bilateral agreement with the City of Trieste)
• the funding of energy efficiency works in buildings (e.g., the ELENA FVG project in collaboration with the Friuli – Venezia Giulia region)
• the study of smart grid solutions (e.g., the SUPAIR project)
• the activation of climate-change adaptation policies within the context of the EU Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy
• the integrated energy, climate and spatial planning (e.g. the IN-PLAN project)
