\ Alta Tecnologia \ Made in Trieste: technologies on the lookout for companies

Innovative solutions with different application fields – ranging from biosensors to new diagnostics and therapeutic approaches for infectious, neurodegenerative, genetic or tumor diseases – are the 30 technology offers gathered through the call for ideas of Made in Trieste, a project managed by AREA Science Park and realized thanks to the contribution of the “Fondo Trieste”, with the purpose to promote the employment of young researchers.

The research results, which have been proposed by the main scientific institutes of Trieste, are presented on www.triestemade.it/en in the section ‘Technologies’, and are in search of business partners interested in their further development.

The matching with industrial partners, now opening, aims at attracting the interest of national and international companies with a strong commitment towards innovation. Companies willing to participate can choose one or more technologies and express their interest by the 30^th June 2017.

After the matching phase, the best 8 co-development projects will be awarded with an annual research grant by AREA Science Park. The grants will support one year of activity of a young researcher working with the proposing research team to carry out the experimental activities in order to reach the results expected by the companies.
