\ Alta Tecnologia \ ARE YOU LOOKING FOR NANO MANUFACTURING FACILITIES AND SERVICES FOR YOUR COMPANY?

Having been active for several months now at the Istituto Officina dei Materiali del CNR (CNR Materials Workshop Institute) of Trieste (Padriciano Campus of AREA Science Park), the laboratory entitled FNF – Facility of Nano Fabrication now offers support to private companies for the production of micro and nano structures.

In addition to activities with scientific and academic goals within the context of basic research, FNF is open to projects and cooperation of a commercial and industrial nature: in particular for all those activities of pre-competitive research aimed at the comprehension of processes and the production of prototypes.

In these cases, access to the structure is regulated by a Commercial Agreement. Users are trained by personale FNF (FNF Staff) in the use of appropriate tools: according to the instrument and application, the complexity of the project and the experience of the user, the training may last from a week to one month. At the end of the certified training programme, the tool will be made available to the user. Access will be regulated by a special reservation system.

FNF researchers, moreover, are available to study projects in greater detail, in which their scientific involvement might represent further value added.
