The Shoreline Cooperative was founded in 1988 by a group of marine and coastal biologists and ecologists.
Shoreline is a key reference point for WWF-Italy for marine issues at national level and is actively involved in managing WWF coastal protected areas.

Shoreline’s main activities include:

• consulting for marine and coastal protected areas
• monitoring activities in protected natural areas in the field of eco-ethology and physical chemistry of marine waters
• marine and aquaculture research.
