The Fondazione ITS A. Volta is an Istituto Tecnico Superiore (ITS), a special technology school that offers specialised high-level post-diploma courses and trains advanced technicians in new life science technologies.

The specialised courses currently offered by ITS A. Volta are:

• advanced technician diploma in biomedical informatics development and management (TIB)
• advanced technician diploma in biomedical, imaging and biotechnology equipment operation and maintenance (TAB)
• advanced technician diploma in technology to support on-duty medical units and proactive medical care through data management and clinical process optimisation (TOHC).
