OISAIR is scouting for financeable research/enterprise innovation projects
A voucher of Euro 18,500 to the 10 best projects in the field of Agro-Bioeconomy, Transport and Mobility, and Energy.
Are you a researcher with a public research center or university located in the Adriatic-Ionian Region, (i.e., Abruzzo, Molise, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicily, the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Lombardy, Emilia-Romagna, Umbria and Marche)?
Are you interested in developing your research findings/technologies?
The new cross-border call for enhancement of scientific research findings is now available (POC – Proof of Concept call), an initiative promoted by the European project OISAIR, financed by the ADRION program and coordinated by Area Science Park.
Purpose: to promote an Open Innovation system in the Adriatic-Ionian macro-region, to increase its competitiveness and attractiveness.
OISAIR will select 10 innovation projects submitted jointly by a public research center/university and by an enterprise, to support them with an Innovation Voucher of € 18.500 each.
The experimental research topics must involve the following sectors:
- Agro-Bioeconomy
- Transport & Mobility
- Energy & Environment
Dedicated to technologies or research results at their initial stage of development (TRL between 3 and 6), the Proof of Concept call co-finances experimental development activities of results and their testing in a laboratory or relevant environment. The beneficiaries must support the projects with the provision of staff-in-kind, working on the project.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The call comprises three phases:
- Call for Ideas (21 May 2019 – 31 July 2019) reserved to public research institutions and universities invited to propose their research results, patents and technologies developed on the INNOVAIR platform.
- Call for Projects (1 August 2019 – 30 September 2019), which promotes the joint proposition by small and medium enterprises and research institutes / universities of innovation projects. Keeping into account the technologies presented in Phase 1, the enterprises will be invited to get in touch with the research centers to develop together a project for that specific technology.
- Selection and award of 10 vouchers for innovation: by 25 October 2019. The financed experimental activities shall be completed by 15 May 2020.
