IP4FVG, Friuli- Venezia Giulia’s digital innovation hub, has been selected by the European Commission to join a network focusing on Artificial Intelligence.

The network will develop a cross-border cooperation program.

The digital hubs selected are 30 (from 20 different countries) and will be part of the program. Of these, only three are Italian, and precisely:

  • IP4FVG, Friuli – Venezia Giulia’s digital hub,
  • Lombardy’s digital hub
  • the hub of the Institute of BioRobotics of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna.

The mission of the network is sustaining the industries and regions concerned in fostering digitalization in the European industrial world.

“Artificial Intelligence offers endless possibilities and countless fields of application, many of which have a direct impact on the entrepreneurial world”, remarked Stefano Casaleggi, Area Science Park’s General Manager; “however, to make it usable and to best exploit it, skilled and dedicated workers are required. IP4FVG offers the required resources to support the digital transformation of businesses. The team was created and supported by a public and private partnership focusing on the fundamental aspects and activities to improve competitiveness over the local territory.”
