Willing to know more about new tools and developments in the circular biobased economy?

AEP Polymers, a company specializing in the valorisation of waste biomass to create new polymers and formulations and established in the science and technology park of Area Science Park, is organizing a workshop entitled “Building a circular biobased economy through a multi-actor approach” during which the following topics will be explored:

 

  • All-encompassing view of the world of polyurethanes, phenolic resins and polylactic acid;
  • Insight on current trends and challenges in the development of sustainable polymers – from the lab all the way to LCA;
  • Learn how modelling and machine learning can be powerful tools for bridging sustainability with the development of new polymers;

The workshop will offer the opportunity for direct interaction with academic experts and researches, innovation agencies, SMEs and large enterprise.

Among the speakers also Francesca Marchi and Francesca Furlan of Area Science Park with the following speeches:

The workshop is organize in the frame of BioSPRINT – Biorefining of sugars via process intensification project financed by European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
